Auto Expo 2020: GWM uncovers the Haval Concept H
MANILA: Great Wall Motors has started approaching the Indian market slowly and steadily. While the automaker has already acquired GM’s manufacturing plant in Talegaon, Pune for producing vehicles for the Indian market, it has now previewed the Haval Concept H at the Auto Expo 2020.
Based on the Haval F7, the "Concept H" is a plug-in hybrid version of the Chinese SUV. And, with the Haval Concept H, Great Wall Motors is targetting the younger lot of the Indian population. The preview of the plug-in hybrid Concept H is the stepping stone and the first of the many more tricks to come in order to allure the population.
What makes the Haval Concept H different from the Haval H7 are the revisited front & rear bumpers, front grille, edgy headlamps with stylish LED DRls, and a set of alloy wheels with a unique pattern. The Indian automobile space will witness the official entry of Great Wall Motors in 2021, and the Concept H may go on to become the first vehicle offered by the automaker in the country. A regular version of the Concept with a choice of either a petrol or diesel engine will be launched before the plug-in hybrid variant is offered.
Moreover, Great Wall Motors will also export vehicles manufactured in India to other markets around the globe.
