Check out the Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 set to appear in the UK

MANILA: Isuzu UK will start accepting orders for the all-new D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 on May 3, after showcasing the pre-production model at the 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show.

Based on the award-winning durability and reliability of the Isuzu D-Max platform, the D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 has been created and designed to manage the most demanding terrain with ease while providing a remarkable presence and genuine performance that is recognized everywhere, whether on- or off-road. The D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 is a fully re-engineered vehicle with major upgrades to the body, frame, drivetrain, suspension, wheels, and tires.

The pickup professionals at Isuzu UK and experienced Arctic Trucks technicians handle every aspect of the D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 build to achieve the maximum standards of build quality and ensure the compliance to all relevant vehicle type approvals and full alignment with Isuzu's five-year/125,000-mile warranty. Furthermore, the vehicle keeps its commercial vehicle identity, allowing it to carry more cargo and pull more trailers.

The D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35's chassis and bodywork have been re-engineered to handle its robust 17-inch matte-black alloy wheels and wider 315/70 R17 all-terrain tires. The suspension system has been upgraded with a custom-tuned Bilstein performance suspension system that includes front springs and dampers, rear dampers, and increased front and rear body lift, giving the D-Max pickup a total front and rear elevation of plus 50 mm over the standard model.

The D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 is developed to boost the famed D-Max off-road capability, with increased ground clearance of 266mm in the front and 290mm in the rear, as well as a 35° approach angle, 29° departure angle, and 34° break over angle. The larger tires, performance springs, and dampers work together to provide a smoother, speedier ride over uneven roads and lower footprint over delicate terrain, without sacrificing on-road performance.

The extra-wide color-coded wheel arch extensions contribute to the D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35's signature styling, providing greater clearance and amplifying the vehicle's higher posture while expressing a strong sense of style and purpose. Arctic Trucks extended profile side steps, Arctic Trucks reinforced mud flaps, and a versatile two-inch rear multifunction receiver hitch are also included, allowing for the fast and easy installation of tow balls, winches, rear-mounted steps, and more.

The D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 is built on the best-selling Isuzu V-Cross model and features gunmetal gray exterior design elements, premium black interior headlining, a nine-inch multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and an eight-speaker sound system. The leather interior features the Arctic Trucks logo on the headrests. The vehicle is also equipped with a wireless mobile phone charging point, Arctic Trucks door entry guards, and a premium carpet mat set. Arctic Trucks and AT35 badging are featured throughout the exterior and interior, together with special locking wheel nuts and an Arctic Trucks torque wrench.

The D-Max has class-leading safety standards, earning the top five-star rating in the latest Euro NCAP safety test. This is in part due to the new Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS), with Forward Collision Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, Manual and Intelligent Speed Limiter, Lane Departure Warning, and Autonomous Emergency Braking included as standard on every D-Max.

The Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 will be available for purchase from any Arctic Trucks-appointed Isuzu dealership across the UK starting on May 3 for £47,999. The automatic transmission variant will retail for £49,499.
