Chevrolet Colorado Xtreme Reveals its Fangs in Bangkok

MANILA: The news about Chevrolet Colorado Xtreme had already been a subject of heavy fan anticipation after it was set to be revealed at the ongoing Bangkok International Motor Show along with the new Trailblazer. Although the fans expected it to be a minor facelift, the unveiled vehicle shows a brand new design while dropping a monstrous hint of the direction that the designers at Chevrolet will take for their future models.

Talking about the new pickup truck, the all-new Colorado Xtreme displays a highly futuristic yet rugged design that aptly suits the vehicle’s off-road demeanor. The vehicle is also provided with a standard body kit that eliminates the need for any personalization or modification. The front is equipped with a large matte black radiator grille with thick line in the center bearing the Chevrolet logo. The sleek, tapered headlamps too look absolutely stunning and flow seamlessly with the curves. The major change in the face however, is the presence of a tough looking front bumper that provides the pickup face with a manly jaw. Additional changes to the new Colorado’s exteriors includes a snorkel air intake, side step rails with side protectors, a thick and sturdy looking safari bar at the rear, a black colored luggage rack on the roof and 18 inch sports alloys with mud-terrain tires. To top if off, the manufacturers also decided to provide the Colorado facelift with a highly attractive ‘golden orange’ body paint that looks stunning against the black colored body kit.

Just like the outside, one can expect the interiors to have tonnes of new changes to set the new Chevrolet Colorado Xtreme apart from its precursor. The interiors follow the same orange black dual-tone from the exteriors and look absolutely sporty. The front dash appears highly futuristic due to the intelligently positioned A/C vents along with an advanced center console with an 8-inch display with support for Android and Apple devices. The displayed vehicle also sported an automatic transmission, but details about the drivetrain have not been made public yet by the manufacturer.
