Ford Everest Score Maximum 5-Star Safety Ratings from ASEAN NCAP

Manila: Well, the results out of the recently conducted New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia (ASEAN NCAP) crash-testing program, and the Ford Everest ASEAN NCAP ratings has come out with flying colors achieving a maximum score of 5-Star.

Ford Everest recently underwent the widely celebrated ASEAN NCAP safety assessment test. The 2015 five-door SUV was the third model from ford to underwent this which is based on the similar designs of Ford Ranger pickup truck.

 ASEAN NCAP carried the safety test over Everest as per the results obtained from Australasian NCAP (ANCAP) in October 2015 and then the ASEAN NCAP also further verified it with the Ford Ranger's data. The Ford Ranger also went through the ASEAN NCAP test and that too came out with a stellar profile of 5-Star ratings.

 The Ford Everest 2015 performed greatly in almost all the sections made by ASEAN-NCAP. In the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), Everest scored 15.38 points claiming 5-Star as in the Child Occupant Protection (COP) category, 2015 Everest achieved a 4-Star safety rating with a compliance score of 81% compliance.

 The most notable thing from the ASEAN NCAP in the Ford Everest 2015 was the presence of Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Seatbelt Reminder (SBR) for both front occupants along with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) as standard features across all variants.

 Last year, Major Pickup truck also went through the same test and passed out very well. While recently ASEAN NCAP conducted the safety assessment tests on Toyota Fortuner and Toyota Innova and both the cars achieved 5-Star ratings as well. The Fortuner achieved a total score of 14.53 in adult occupant protection (AOP) and 71% compliance for child occupant protection (COP). While the Toyota Innova came out shining with an AOP score of 14.10 along with a 71% compliance. 

Thus, we can easily say that the future owners of Ford Everest can lay back without worrying about the safety of this car.
