Ford is the New Sales Champion in the Country

MANILA: Ford Philippines has marked their impression on the sales chart by ranking at the top most position. This honour to the brand in endowed by its fleet of SUVs which have made the fellow Filipinos go gaga over them. Few days back, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) had announced the first quarter sales figures which were astonishing and Toyota came out to be the leading manufacturer which excelled the position with 39.92% market share. With the latest data, it seems that the Ford has taken it seriously and did a great job in the very first month only of the fiscal year 2015-16.

The Ford vehicle sales have grown by 93%, putting 3,152 units of vehicles on-road. The SUV segment has contributed a major chunk in this sales shoot-up which is also one of the most favourite ride categories among Filipinos. The Managing Director of Ford Philippines seemed to be very happy while announcing this and is estimating a shiny fortune for the brand in the country. Ford Ecosport and Ford Everest have recently been showcased at the MIAS 2016 auto show in their revamped embodiment where the Ecosport’s Black Edition was the show stopper while the 4x2 version of the Everest made the linear drivers cherished. Now, with the topping sales figures, Ford would definitely be thinking of celebrating it big, so booz might have blown in the company.

Apart from the SUV segment, the performance car in the fleet, Mustang 2016, has also been under the people’s interest with total 19 units sold, making 98 units of Mustang garnishing the Philippine roads. The country has shown a tremendous response in terms of buying new cars which has grown significantly in last two years and is still growing. With this, we can expect our market to be producing more vehicles in the coming times.
