GAC Motor PH enjoys 106% growth for Sep. YTD 2024 sales

MANILA: GAC Motor Philippines enjoyed a strong retail performance after selling 2,511 units for the first nine months of 2024.

Based on the joint report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Incorporated and Truck Manufacturers Association, the aforementioned sales volume reflected a 105.8-percent increase compared to the 1,220 examples delivered to customers under the same period last year.

The said performance also helped the marque secure its position as the second best-selling brand in the passenger car category.

Leading the sales rally for GAC Motor Philippines are the GS3 Emzoom, M6 Pro, and M8, which continue to attract attention across various market segments. Expected to aid in growing the brand’s appeal to the public is the company’s first new energy vehicle in the roster, the GAC Emkoo Hybrid.

Other members of the company’s stable include the GAC Empow, Emkoo, and GS8.

Further GAC Motor Philippines’ sales output can also be attributed to the presence in key areas in the country with its continuously-growing dealer network. Currently, the Chinese automaker’s local arm has 29 dealerships nationwide, with plans to grow by 38 (including appointments by the end of the year.

The company also takes pride in the exceptional customer experience that it offers, as highlighted by its comprehensive after-sales services. Each GAC Motor vehicle is packaged with a five-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty as well as its 24/7 emergency roadside assistance for the first year upon purchase.
