Geely PH presents updated Coolray SE at MIAS

MANILA: Local Geely distributor Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) through its new President and CEO Yugo Kiyofuji (main photo, left) previewed the Coolray SE at the 2022 Manila International Auto Show. 

Featuring the styling updates of the nameplate, the Coolray SE wears an X-shaped "Energy Bumper," "Chronos Grille," rear bumper diffuser with body color elements, double-deck rear spoiler, and jet black wheels. 

Inside, the Coolray SE reportedly gets a new 12.3-inch infotainment display, which could take the place of the previous 10.25-inch display. 

Under the hood of the Coolray SE is the 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that is turbocharged to make 177hp and 255Nm of torque. 

In his message during the presentation of the new model, Kiyofuji stated: "Our role is to take SGAP to the next level and become one of the top passenger vehicle brands by 2025, strengthening our dealer network as well as exceeding the customer expectation." 

Kiyofuji has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, having worked for different OEM and automotive-related organizations in the Middle East, Latin America, and Australia.
