Indonesian-spec Jetour Dashing
Per Jetour Auto, the Indonesian-spec Dashing is touted as a trendy ride for the young car buyers in the country. That said, it is equipped with a “Sword Edge”-style daytime running lights and taillamps with a chequered flag design.
Further, its coupe-style body design and hidden door handles create a sleek and stylish overall exterior that could pique the interest of its target market in Indonesia.
In terms of technology and safety, the Jetour Dashing for the Indonesian market is equipped with 540-degree panoramic imaging, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
Also featured is an intelligent voice control as well as Apple Carplay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity. It also supports wireless charging for smartphones.
Indonesian-market Jetour X70 Plus
The seven-seater SUV looks to wow Indonesian buyers with its spacious cabin, which Jetour believes is ideal for family travel.
The Jetour X70 plus has foldable second- and third-row seats that offer a luggage space of up to 1,680 liters. It also gets a 62-inch panoramic sunroof, a CN95 air filter, keyless entry, one-touch start, and an electric tailgate with memory function.
Acceleration of global strategy
Per Jetour Auto, the nameplates’ introduction shows the Chery-owned company’s determination to accelerate its globalization strategy.
“Since its establishment in 2018, Jetour Auto has adhered to the Travel+ strategy, focusing on ‘Travel+’ automotive niche market. In just 70 months, we have achieved 1.18 million-unit cumulative sales and 47 million followers worldwide. With high-quality products and outstanding service, we have succeeded in many markets,” Jetour International Vice President Kevin Xu Haifeng said.
To date, Jetour Auto has exported to more than 50 countries and regions including the Philippines where both the Dashing and the X70 Plus are available. On that note, it aims to achieve an annual overseas sales target of one million units by 2030, cover 80 markets worldwide, and establish over 1600 sales and service networks.
“Our main strategy is to increase brand awareness to be recognized as a high-quality and innovative SUV brand in Indonesia. Jetour Motor Indonesia is committed to the ‘Travel+’ strategy, accelerating the development and introduction of PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) and BEV (battery-electric vehicle) to meet the needs in Indonesia,” PT Jetour Motor Indonesia President Director Jack Yang noted.
