GWM PH prolongs warranty coverage

MANILA: GWM (Great Wall Motors) Philippines has launched its comprehensive seven-year warranty program.

Per the Chinese automaker’s local arm, the extended program — which is aimed to highlight its dedication to customer satisfaction — has been applied across its entire vehicle line-up namely the Haval H6 HEV, Haval Jolion HEV and DCT, GWM Cannon, and Tank 300.

Effective immediately, GWM Philippines noted that the aforementioned program will be beneficial to all its customers — new and existing. The program provides the following coverage:

• Seven-year or 200,000-kilometer bumper-to-bumper warranty
• 10-year or one-million-kilometer powertrain warranty for internal combustion engine-powered vehicles
• Eight-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty on the key components of the electric motor and hybrid power battery for hybrid electric vehicles

Below is the detailed warranty coverage for GWM Philippines’ offerings:

“The seven-year warranty extends to all present and future GWM customers, provided their vehicle is serviced at an authorized dealership following the maintenance schedule outlined in the warranty booklet, along with adhering to the scope and limitations for warranty coverage. This ensures that their investment remains protected with minimal effort,” Luxuriant Automotive Group, Incorporated Aftersales Director Bobby Chan was quoted as saying.

All GWM vehicles sold by authorized dealers in the country are covered by the warranty, including those already delivered starting from launch in April 2023.
