GWM PH to launch Tank 300 SUV, Ora 03 EV soon

MANILA: GWM Philippines gave a preview of its upcoming models, the Tank 300 sports utility vehicle (SUV) and the Ora 03 pure electric vehicle.

The GWM Tank 300 is an ideal SUV for off-road adventures, represented by its boxy profile. This 4x4 vehicle has a length of 4,760 millimeters (mm), a width of 1,930 mm, and a height of 1,903 mm. It also has a 2,750-mm wheelbase, 224-mm ground clearance, and 700-mm of water-wading depth.

Powering the Tank 300 is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It churns out up to 216 horsepower and 380 Newton-meters of torque.

GWM Philippines is now accepting reservations for the Tank 300. It will be officially launched before the end of the year.

The Ora 03, on the other hand, is an all-electric hatchback that features a retro look with round headlights and a distinctive tailgate.

Inside, the Ora 03 comes with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a digital instrument panel, a touchscreen infotainment system, and the same rotary gear selector found on GWM's other vehicle offerings.

The GWM Ora 03 also made its public debut in the country at the 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, happening at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City until Saturday, October 21.

More details on the Ora 03, including powertrain specs and pricing, will be revealed as its launch draws near.
