Honda BR-V To Make A Local Debut At 2016 PIMS
MANILA: The much-awaited MPV/ crossover from the house of Japanese automaker has finally received an event to make its debut in the country. Filipinos will soon have their hands on the 2016 Honda BR-V after the 6th Philippine International Motor Show, as the car will be launched in the event. Honda is introducing the crossover at just the right time to cater the needs of growing demand of a 7-seater vehicle with capabilities of taking on rough terrains.
Recently the Honda BR-V was showcased at the recently concluded 2016 GIIAS and now it is all set to make its move towards the Philippines. The upcoming BR-V is evolved by Honda R&D Asia Pacific specifically for the Asian markets. The upcoming BR-V is likely to have the same spec as that of Thai model and will feature a 1.5-litre SOHC i-VTEC engine, delivering 117 PS power and 146 Nm torque. To further emphasize on the fuel economy front, the engine is coupled with Earth Dreams technology and continuously variable transmission (CVT) which transmits the power to front wheels.
Honda City was updated few months back and some changes were introduced in two of its trims and now Honda is all set for a new launch in the country. The BR-V will be displayed from September 14-18 at the World Trade Center in Pasay city and it is likely that the customers will also get an option of booking along with lucrative offers and deals.
