Honda extends discounts to March on select models

MANILA: Honda Cars Philippines has announced that its February offer, titled Drive to 2020, will now be extended to March. The offer from the Philippines arm of the Japanese automobile behemoth will cover the BR-V crossover sports utility vehicle (SUV), the Brio compact hatchback, and the City sedan. The Honda CR-V full-sized SUV has also been included in the offer.

The new 1.5-litre BR-V with the continuously variable transmission (CVT), the 1.5-litre City VX Navi CVT and the 1.2-litre all-new Brio with manual transmission (MT) will be available at a special 10 percent all-in cash-out deal with the payment term ranging from 36 to 60 months. The offer can be availed through financing from the Security Bank Corporation, Bank of Commerce, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC), BPI Family Savings Bank, and China Bank Savings. 

The CR-V Touring Diesel 9AT model, meanwhile, will be available through a low net cash-out deal of 15 to 20 percent with a similar payment term. The offer can be availed through RCBC, BPI Family Savings Bank, East West Banking Corporation, Security Bank Corporation, Philippine Savings Bank, Philippine National Bank, Bank of Commerce, China Bank Savings, Maybank Philippines, Sterling Bank of Asia, United Coconut Planters Bank, Robinsons Bank, and Banco de Oro (BDO) Unibank.

The approximate retail price of the City VX Navi CVT, BR-V CVT, Brio MT, and the CR-V Touring Diesel is Php 985,500, Php 1,155,000, Php 598,000, and Php 1,738,000 respectively.

Honda Cars Philippines has also introduced a free one-month amortisation facility available only for the 60-month payment term. That aside, a low monthly amortisation scheme has been launched, available for 15 to 20 percent down-payment for a 36 to 60-month term.

All the offers announced by Honda cover a three-year Land Transportation Office registration and chattel mortgage. The company is also extending one-year comprehensive insurance, covering acts of nature, through select partners.

Honda currently sells 12 car models in the Philippines. The Jazz crossover hatchback and the CR-V are two of the most popular Honda cars sold in their respective segments. Other Honda vehicles include the Mobilio and Odyssey multipurpose vehicles, the Civic, Accord and Brio Amaze sedans and the Civic Type-R hatchback.
