KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What powers Hyundai Creta?

Hyundai Creta is powered by a Smartstream 1.5-liter engine that produces 115ps of power and 143.8Nm of torque.
  • What other deals are offered on Hyundai Creta at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show?

Customers can take advantage of the P98,000 all-in low down payment offer with an additional P10,000 off for those who will make their reservations for Hyundai Creta at the venue.
  • The contest was initiated by Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) and extended to its global markets. It was formed out of its Goal of the Century (GOTC) commitment, which draws inspiration from how football serves as a fuel for igniting team spirit and unity among its players and fans.

“We are committed to expanding our role beyond the transportation sector. As the third largest car manufacturer globally, we wish to become a mobility solution provider who will take the lead in creating a sustainable future for generations to come through ‘Goal of the Century’, our call towards a climate-positive tomorrow,” HMPH President Lee Dong Wook stated.

Hyundai Creta features a two-tone exterior with a front Parametric Jewel radiator grille that embodies futuristic styling. It is also equipped with LED daytime running lamps and rear combination lamps, sporty bumpers, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

It has a class-leading height of 1,630mm and a wheelbase of 2,610mm. Given its high ground clearance and spacious interior, it is ideal for transporting people or cargo over rough or flood-prone roads.

On the inside, Hyundai Creta is equipped with a 10.25-inch full TFT LCD meter cluster and an eight-inch display audio that can be connected to a smart device via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. It also makes driving more convenient with its tilt and telescopic steering wheel, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and wireless smartphone charger.

The Creta is powered by a Smartstream 1.5-liter engine that produces 115ps of power and 143.8Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).

Hyundai Creta comes standard with a Drive Mode feature for increased driving comfort and Hyundai SmartSense, a suite of smart sensors that make driving safer and more convenient.

Among the Hyundai SmartSense features included in the Creta are Forward Collision-avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind-spot Collision-avoidance Assist, Rear View Monitor, and dual airbag system.

Those who test drive the Creta will not only get to contribute to global sustainability but also get a chance to watch a FIFA World Cup match in Qatar later this year.

PIMS attendees can take this subcompact crossover for a test drive until Sunday, September 18, at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. Customers can also take advantage of the P98,000 all-in low down payment offer with an additional P10,000 off for those who will make their reservations for Hyundai Creta at the venue.

HMPH also gave a first look at the Hyundai Ioniq 5, its first fully electric vehicle. The crossover utility vehicle (CUV), which was awarded as the 2022 World Car of the Year, will be officially launched in the Philippines in January 2023.

“Our vision is ‘Progress for Humanity’ because we are dedicated to understanding what people want in life. For us, it’s not about going from A to B, it’s about creating time for the moments that truly matter. This is what we hope for our Filipino customers to experience when they own a Hyundai,” Lee said. “We are excited to hit the ground running and give Filipinos access to our award-winning smart technologies, advanced safety and driver-assist systems and of course our new ‘sensuous sportiness’ design philosophy in our range of passenger cars.”

Catch the all-new Creta and the Ioniq 5 at the 8th PIMS until September 18. To get the latest updates on the 8th PIMS, follow ZigWheels Philippines on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
