Isuzu PH launches D-Max Limited

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has unleased the D-Max Limited.

The Isuzu D-Max Limited is the newest variant of the brand’s pickup truck, which is aimed to compete against other “accessorized” nameplates in the segment.

On that note, the Isuzu D-Max Limited wears a host of exterior and interior appointments that not only make it sleeker and sportier but also adds to its dependable and reliable character.

At the front, the Isuzu D-Max Limited wears a newly designed blacked-out grille with an eye-catching red Isuzu logo. Likewise, the pickup truck dons a red front bumper, which further boosts its aggressive looks.

To its side are gray streak body graphics with red “Limited” logo that extends all the way to the Isuzu D-Max Limited’s tailgate. Similarly, it also gets newly designed step boards, which allow easy ingress and egress for its driver and passengers. Similarly, the handlebars installed on each of the truck’s pillars help occupants in getting in and out of the vehicle.

Its rear end also wears a new tailgate design and body graphics to further accentuate the exclusivity of the Isuzu D-Max Limited variant. It also gets a bedliner for better utility.

The Isuzu D-Max Limited rides on 17-inch satin black alloy wheels shod in all-terrain tires.

“The new Isuzu D-Max Limited makes the already appealing D-Max pick-up even more attractive to those looking for added character on their vehicle. Designed with uniqueness and individuality in mind, this vehicle is fit for those with a deeper passion in life, especially the adventurous type,” said IPC President Tetsuya Fujita.

Inside, the Isuzu D-Max Limited also gets variant-specific floor mats, comfortable fabric bucket seats (with anti-vibration elastic comfort foam), and a multi-functional urethane steering wheel.

Tech-wise, the Isuzu D-Max Limited packs a 4.2-inch instrument cluster, a decent 10.1-inch infotainment system, a navigation system, and a clinometer.

Rear occupants also get their own air conditioning vents with a power outlet to charge devices. 

Powering the limited truck variant is a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift. The said setup makes as much as 187 horses with 450 Newton-meters of pulling power.

Complementing the capable mill are double wishbone coil springs with high-mounted upper control arm and monotube nitrogen-charged shock absorber and stabilizers at the front. It also gets a pair of long-span semi-elliptical soft-ride leaf springs with monotube nitrogen-charged shock absorbers at the rear.

Those looking to be counted among the few owners of the Isuzu D-Max Limited edition can expect to be set back P1.58 million. It will be made available in all Isuzu dealerships within the month.

IPC Assistant Division Head for Sales Robert Carlos told Zigwheels Philippines that the company would only release 200 samples of the newly launched D-Max Limited variant.

“This is only limited to 200 units, so it’s up for grabs,” Carlos noted.
