Isuzu Philippines Fuel Efficiency Test Reveals Aspiring Facts

The said testing round included on company’s two of the most renowned products; Isuzu D-Max, and Isuzu mu-X.

Well, coming to the point, the company recently conducted a five-day fuel efficiency test on both the above-mentioned cars and the results were so good that they even astonished the company officials.
Major Points about Isuzu Philippines Fuel-Efficiency Test:
Participating Cars: Isuzu D-MAX and mu-X
Testing Dates: 9th to 13th February 2016
Route Traveled by mu-X: Petron Marilao - Ilocos Norte (Day 1) - Nueva Vizcaya (Day 2) - Manila (Day 3) - Tagkawayan Quezon (Day 4)
Route Traveled by D-MAX: Petron Marilao - Ilocos Norte (Day 1) - Nueva Vizcaya (Day 2) - Manila (Day 3) - Quezon (Day 4) - Legazpi (Day 5)
Total Distance Traveled by mu-X: 1,605 km with an impressive mileage 24.69 km per liter
Total Distance Traveled by D-MAX: 2,254.5 km with a fuel economy of 29.66 km per liter
Participating Mill: October launched 3.0L VGS Turbo Diesel Engine
All in all, both the cars showcased excellent performance throughout the trip, with Isuzu D-MAX being the best one in the lot. The pick-up efficiency was further proven when it traveled a distance of 454.5 km even after it fuel tank indicator started blinking.
Globally, the company revealed the 2016 Isuzu D-MAX that is due for its Philippines’ debut in the near future. The new version is said to be powered by a 1.9L RZ4E - TC Ddi Blue Power turbo-diesel that churns out 150 PS and 350 Nm, also, it is bestowed with many exterior and interior transformations. As for a local update, Isuzu Philippines recently added a new Garnet Red color in its mu-X lineup, making this powerful hulk look more powerful and rugged.
