Jeep announces new packages, features for 2023 Renegade

MANILA: The Jeep Renegade offers an exceptional blend of fuel-efficient powertrains, best-in-class off-road performance, open-air freedom, and convenience. This combination contributes to unparalleled on- and off-road driving dynamics and a variety of cutting-edge safety and advanced technology features.

The 2023 Jeep Renegade comes in three 4x4 models: Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. It is powered by a 1.3-liter direct-injection turbocharged engine paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission, producing 177hp and 210lb-ft of torque.

To improve fuel efficiency, the 2023 Renegade comes with active grille shutters and engine stop-start (ESS) technology. Segment-exclusive disconnecting rear axle and Power Transfer Unit (PTU) also contribute to fuel efficiency.

For the ultimate four-wheel-drive performance on- or off-road and in any weather conditions, the Jeep Active Drive and Active Drive Low 4x4 systems both include the Jeep Selec-Terrain system, which offers up to five modes: Auto, Snow, Sand, Mud, and Rock.

The Renegade Trailhawk comes standard with Jeep Active Drive Low with enhanced 21:1 crawl ratio, 8.7 inches of ground clearance, skid plates, signature red front and rear tow hooks, up to 8.1 inches of wheel articulation, Hill Descent Control, and up to 19 inches of water fording. With these features, the Trailhawk offers best-in-class Trail Rated 4x4 capability.

The Trailhawk also provides up to 2,000lb towing capacity when equipped with the Trailer Tow Package.

Jeep Renegade features a modern styling with rugged figures and angular proportions that result in best-in-class approach, departure angles, and off-road performance.

Jeep offers a High Altitude Package for Renegade Limited. This package includes 19-inch Granite Crystal painted aluminum wheels, Gloss Black badges, and Neutral Grey grille rings.

The Renegade Trailhawk, on the other hand, comes with Premium Lighting Group that includes full LED exterior lighting (front fog lamps, headlamps, taillamps, and daytime running lamps).

The 2023 Renegade is available in seven exterior color options: Alpine White, Black, Colorado Red, Graphite Grey, Slate Blue, Sting-Gray, and Detonator Yellow.

On the inside, the Renegade is equipped with a Uconnect 4C NAV 8.4-inch touchscreen radio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, Bluetooth hands-free calling, voice command, and SiriusXM Radio.

The Premium Group for Renegade Latitude comes with auto-deam rear mirrors, eight-way power driver’s seat with two-way lumbar adjuster, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, windshield wiper deicer, roof rails, and cornering fog lamps. Meanwhile, the Trailhawk Elite Group comes with leather-trimmed seats.

There are three available interior colors for the 2023 Renegade: Trespass Black with Grillz accents, Black leather with Grillz accents, and Trailhawk Black with Ruby Red accents.

Jeep Renegade comes with over 70 standard and available safety and security features, including Forward Collision Warning-Plus and LaneSense Departure Warning-Plus.

Renegade Limited now comes standard with adaptive cruise control. Limited Elite Group includes a full-suite of LED exterior lighting, auto high-beam headlamps, and parallel/perpendicular park assist with fullstop.
