Jetour Ice Cream EV to be displayed in 20 malls soon

MANILA: Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated (JAPI) will soon conduct displays, events and promos for Ice Cream EV units at strategic locations within 20 Megaworld Lifestyle Malls nationwide.

The renewed collaboration between the two marques was forged last January 12 following the Holiday initiative wherein Chinese automotive brand displayed five Jetour Ice Cream EV at the McKinley Hill Grand Christmas Parade last December 8 — culminated with the grand raffle draw of a unit to a lucky shopper  from Megaworld's Southwoods Mall in December 23.

The new pact was signed by executives from JAPI (Managing Director Miguelito Jose and Marketing Director Cherry May De Los Santos) and Megaworld Lifestyle Malls (Assistant Vice President and Head of Corporate Sponsorship Bimbo Andrade; Senior Assistant Vice President, Head of Brand, and Megaworld Lifestyle, Creatives and Marketing, Corporate Sponsorship Tinay Villanueva).

“Megaworld has the facilities for charging stations and this will be the best opportunity to partner with them,” the JAPI managing director was quoted as saying.

Jetour Ice Cream EV specifications

Outside, the Jetour Ice Cream EV is fitted with “smiling" LED daytime running lights that complements the overall youthful aesthetics.

For its cabin, the Jetour Ice Cream EV is outfitted with high-grade gaming chairs that assures comfort to all four occupants for comfort for four occupants and guarantees durability. It also has a multi-information display, infotainment unit, steering-wheel controls for phones, audio functions, eco and sport driving modes, and a reverse camera.

Propelling the number-coding-exempted vehicle is powered by a 20-kilowatt-hour (kwh) electric motor that can deliver a maximum of 85 Newton-meters and reach speeds of around 100 kilometers per hour.

The mill is powered by a 13.9-kwh lithium-ion battery that gets juiced up using a 220-volt charging plug — giving the vehicle range of up to 170 kilometers (km).

Packaged with eight-year battery warranty or 120,000 km and a three-year vehicle warranty or 100,000 km (whichever comes first), the Jetour Ice Cream EV starts at P699,000.

Further, the Jetour Ice Cream EV is available in Vanilla, Strawberry, Blueberry, and Matcha colors.

Meanwhile, the Megaworld Lifestyle Malls where the vehicle will be showcased are the following: sEastwood Mall; Eastwood Citywalk; Lucky Chinatown; Uptown Bonifacio; Forbes Town; Venice Grand Canal; Newport Mall; Southwoods Mall; Festive Walk Iloilo; Three Central Mall, Paseo Center; San Lorenzo Place; Arcovia City; California Garden Square; The Clubhouse at Temple Drive; Greenhouse at Village Square Alabang; Alabang West Parade; Twin Lakes Shopping Village; Mactan Alfresco, and; Boracay Newcoast.
