The Urus S is perfect for those choosing the purest sublimation of performance, luxury and versatility,” Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Stephan Winkelmann said.
He also said that the newly-revealed sport utility vehicle (SUV) elevates the nameplate’s reputation, which attest to its credentials as the first and enduring Super SUV. Notably, the Raging Bull marque has already produced more than 20,000 examples of the Urus nameplate since its inception.
Powering the Lamborghini Urus S is a V8 twin turbo engine paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox that can deliver up to 657 horsepower and 850 Newton-meters of torque — reflecting a power-to-weight ratio of 3.3 kilograms per horsepower.
The mill allows the vehicle to go 0-100 kilometers per hour (kph) in 3.5 seconds, 0-200 kph in 12.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 305 kph.
Assuring the model's stopping power are the equally-powerful carbon ceramic brakes discs mated to 10-cylinder monobloc calipers in the front and single-cylinder floating calipers in the rear, which can bring the vehicle to a halt from 100 kph in 33.7 meters.
Aside from the Strada, Sport, Corsa and Ego drive modes, the Lamborghini Urus S offers off-road settings namely the Terra, Neve, and Sabbia that guarantees enjoyment — with the help of its adaptive air suspension system.
The new Lamborghini Urus S provides more color, trim, wheels and style package options.
Its front bumper features a new matte black, stainless-steel skid plate and a black front grille.
Per Lamborghini Philippines, the vehicle comes with five available style configurations that involve body color, gloss black and carbon fiber components. A new lightweight carbon fiber hood comes with matte black air vents, or in optional gloss black, body color or carbon fiber — matched by a carbon fiber roof.
The Lamborghini Urus S’ rear bumper has also been restyled — with the lower portion painted in matte black. Complementing the design are the new twin-tailpipe exhaust finished in brushed steel as standard, or optional matte or gloss black — or the Ad Personam option in bright chrome.
Further, the vehicle can be had in 21-, 22- (Nath in titanium matte and diamond- polish finish), or 23-inch (Taigete in bronze or diamond-polish) wheels.
Inside, the Lamborghini Urus S is also offered in the new bicolor Sportivo and Sophisticated options. The bicolor Sportivo is more discreet, the Sophisticated black leather trim has new contrast color options in Blu Leandro and Verde Aura, along with tan, cream and brown.
Moreover, the new Urus S’ connectivity features include navigation, security and several in-car control services.
