Mazda CX-9 To Arrive Early In 2017

MANILA: Mazda is all set to bring its much-awaited CX-9 to the Philippines. Though the company has not announced it officially but authorities have given a hint that the crossover would arrive in our country by the beginning of the year 2017. Since the information has been leaked by Steven Tan – the president of Mazda Philippines, we can trust upon it with full confidence. A couple of months ago, in February 2016, the company confirmed that 2016 Mazda CX-9 has been put on the production line and since then, auto enthusiasts are waiting to hear the official date of its arrival. The new SUV will portray some really sharp and bold features which can bring threat among its competitors, mentioned the confident and excited president after his visit to the Mazda's Hofu production facility where the new Mazda CX-9 is under production.

The latest model of CX-9 will feature a more premium appeal than any of its predecessor; thanks to the Mazda signature KODO design language. This design reflects the instant energy of motion with the dynamic poise with elegant details. The 5-point grille, powerful stance, and crisp body lines are other features which define the KODO – Soul of Motion design. With a sharper and bolder look, the new CX-9 has been flaunted in all-new Machine Gray finish which accentuates the appeal of this full-size crossover SUV. The Mazda signage at the front in the middle of the grille might look like any ordinary Mazda emblem but if you look closer, you might find that there is a radar sensor hidden behind the panel. The interior is no less than its gorgeous exterior and houses a wide range of features which can make you sit there for long, and we mean it. With premium upholstery wrapped around the seats, this 7-seater has got an equally exceptional cabin layout to make the traveling absolutely comfortable and unforgettable.

In March this year, the company confirmed to bring CX-9 with a turbocharged engine and looks like it is keeping its words. As far as we have come to know, the new Mazda CX-9 would house a 2.5-litre SkyActive engine with turbo technology to knock out a peak power counting to 230 PS along with a peak torque showing 420 Nm. The engine will come mated to 6-speed gearbox to show its efficiency at its best. To ensure that this thrill machine is safe enough during your off-roading, numerous safety features are also plotted in it. The occupants will get the best of protection from the standard safety package comprising parking sensors, lane departure warning system, airbags, ABD, EBD and Brake Assist.

Mazda Philippines is yet to reveal other tech-specs and price of this upcoming new model of CX-9, guess they are waiting for the launch time to come closer and then touch the nerve.
