MANILA: With the recent announcement of remarkable fuel economy data for MG cars and SUVs, as officially recognized and recorded by the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP), MG Philippines is continuing to live up to its brand promise of “Expect Extraordinary.” '

The fuel efficiency tests provide Filipinos looking to purchase a car with fair and objective data on a feature that is now essential for all cars. This AAP fuel eco run confirms yet another great aspect of MG vehicles and SUVs, which makes them even more desirable for the discerning client. This fuel-economy run adhered to stringent guidelines watched in-car by the AAP and simulated real-world driving conditions, including routine use of air conditioning, rolling up windows, staying within set speed limits, and having tires inflated to the manufacturer's suggested pressure. 

All traffic laws and regulations were scrupulously observed because the experiment was being conducted on public roads, and no severe "hypermiling" driving practices, including drafting or slipstreaming, were used to increase the fuel efficiency ratings of these MG vehicles.
