MG PH puts up charging station in Iloilo

MANILA: MG (Morris Garages) Motor Philippines has established an electric vehicle (EV) charging station in Iloilo.

Designed to support the growing number of EV owners in the province and the city’s sustainable growth, the brand’s 22-kilowatt facility was put up inside Festive Walk Mall Iloilo.

"This EV charging station isn’t just infrastructure; it symbolizes our commitment to providing green, accessible mobility for our customers and for generations to come. Iloilo City’s dedication to sustainable growth aligns perfectly with MG’s mission, and we’re proud to contribute to this vision,” MG Philippines President Felix Jiang was quoted as saying.

Aside from Jiang, present during the event were Festive Walk Iloilo General Manager Karmela Jesena, Iloilo City Councilor Johnny Young, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Iloilo City Chapter Incorporated President Engineer Fulbert Woo, MG Philippines Aftersales Regional Head Rocky Zhang, as well as Grand Cars Incorporated’s Jan Andrew Po (president) and Lorenzo Aguilar (vice president).

This charging station directly reflects that commitment, making it easier for drivers to embrace electric mobility with confidence. As we expand our network, we are making it our mission to ensure that electric vehicle infrastructure grows alongside the demand for greener solutions,” Po, for his part, noted.
