What powers the Jetour T2?
The Jetour T2 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. What the the estimated all-electric range of the Jetour Dashing PHEV?
The Jetour Dashing PHEV has an estimated emissions-free range of about 100 km.Taking center stage were the T2 sport utility vehicle (SUV) and Dashing plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) crossover.
Jetour T2
The T2 is the latest SUV in Jetour Auto Philippines’ stable. It has good, muscular styling combined with sleek design cues that overall give it a rugged, modern look.
One of the most notable features of the Jetour T2 is its size. Its large build complements the exterior body appointments offered by the vehicle. At the front is a huge grille with a bold “JETOUR” script flanked by boxy headlamps that match the SUV’s squarish dimensions.
A relatively massive front bumper connects to the similarly big fender flares that house its wide wheels. Two large step boards allow easy ingress and egress while blacked-out pillars give the tank-like SUV a roof that looks like it floats. Speaking of which, a pair of robust roof rails stand tall atop the vehicle’s dome.
Rugged black wheel arches connect to the rear bumper of the Jetour T2. Two tail lamps — that mimic the same design as the front — can be found at the borders of the SUV with a square cover for the spare wheel that is mounted on the swing-out rear door.
Inside the Jetour T2 are plenty of modern features like a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a flat top and flat bottom, a 10-inch cluster gauge, and a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The abundance of straight lines and sharp angles inside the cabin of the Jetour T2 reinforces its rugged nature, giving its occupants a sense of toughness when behind the wheel or when sitting on its plush seats as passengers.
Powering the Jetour T2 is a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with the Jetour XWD system that automatically switches between two-wheel to four-wheel-drive. It also has an automated limited-slip differential.
Jetour Dashing PHEV
Bolstering its new-energy offerings, Jetour Auto Philippines has displayed on its MIAS 2024 booth the Dashing PHEV.
The electrified crossover sports similar design elements to the internal combustion engine-powered version of the nameplate. On that note, one can see familiar features on the Jetour Dashing PHEV such as its distinct front grille, sporty side profile, and aggressive-looking rear end.
Inside, the Jetour Dashing PHEV packs a flat top and flat bottom steering wheel, a digital instrument panel, and a large infotainment display unit.
More importantly, the Jetour Dashing PHEV is powered by a hybrid powertrain setup that can cover approximately 1,000 kilometers (km) with a combined use of its 1.5-liter gasoline engine and electric motors.
Estimated range for emissions-free driving is around 100 km.
