This entry-level full-sized SUV boasts of an all-new design language, which surely generates a sense of freshness in Mitsubishi lineup. With a modern and intimidating design language and proven mechanicals under the skin, the Montero Sport is now one of the most modern looking and desirable SUV in its segment.
Following is the comprehensive information on all the essential features and equipment which make the Montero Sport the most modern Mitsubishi offering:-
Exterior features
On the outside, the Montero Sport manages to look the swankiest of all the Mitsubishi vehicles, thanks to a futuristic design language which is leagues ahead from the rest of its stablemates. At the front, you do get a cascading chrome grille with projector headlamps, daytime running LEDs, and fog lamps. The side profile is glorified by the presence of turn indicators integrated on the outside rearview mirrors, chrome garnish on door handles and window waistline, roof rails, and 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. The rear profile of the Montero Sport carries a distinguish looking slim and vertical LED tail lamp assembly, which extends all the way down to the rear bumper, as well as a chrome garnish on the boot lid.
Interior – driver’s cockpit
Mitsubishi vehicles are known to have a drab looking driver’s cockpit and dashboard, some of which do remind you of vehicles from yesteryears. Not anymore with the Montero Sport, as this full-sized SUV comes with a premium layout. The three-spoke steering wheel feels chunky and good to hold, with all the essential controls of audio, Bluetooth, cruise, and MID stacked on its spokes and paddle shifters placed behind it. Then, you have the colored MID screen which instantly manages to grab attention. The cascading pattern for the centre console looks stylish, with the upper portion having the touchscreen infotainment system which incorporates reverse camera and navigation as well. The lower portion, understandably, integrates buttons for automatic climate control.
