Mitsubishi Motors tops J.D. Power’s Customer Service Index and Sales Satisfaction Index Studies

MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) is on a roll this year. With favorable sales despite a slowdown in global economic growth, the Japanese automaker brand was recognized by J.D. Power for topping Power’s Customer Service Index and Sales Satisfaction Index Studies for both its Indonesia and Philippines subsidiary.

The Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), earned the number 1 spot in J.D. Power 2019 Indonesia Customer Service Index (CSI) Study and Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Study. This is the second time that MMKSI earned the top spot for CSI and the first time to top the SSI. Besides the aforementioned awards, MMC was also recognized for its continued improvements in vehicle development and quality. It earned the J.D. Power 2019 Indonesia Initial Quality Study (IQS) for the flagship Pajero Sport model for the SUV segment and the Xpander for the entry MPV segment.

Yoichiro Yatabe, MMC Senior Vice President for the ASEAN region extends his gratitude to the support that the company received from “government, stakeholders, and all of our customers, we will soon reach our milestone 50th year in business in Indonesia, which is one of our highest priority markets. I am very pleased that many efforts to improve our services, sales, and product quality in order to satisfy customers at all points of contact have been recognized by our customers and earned top honors in these studies."

And the laurels don’t stop there. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) also improved its ranking in the J.D. Power 2019 Philippines Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) garnering second place among 11 car brands. The improved ranking shows the customer-centric strategy that MMPC has adopted within the company and its entire network of dealership.

Mitsubishi Motors reaffirms its continued effort “toward higher customer satisfaction in its services, sales activities, and vehicle development while contributing to the regional economy development.”
