New Hyundai Kona shows sharper look in latest teaser

MANILA: Hyundai is updating the Kona’s exterior and adding to the lineup a product of its N performance division, the Kona N Line, just two years after the nameplate's worldwide launch.

The base Kona gets a more sophisticated look with a wider stance and a shark-inspired nose for a sleeker exterior, and sporty styling updates that include upgraded daytime running lamps (DRL).

An aerodynamic exterior detailing differentiates the Kona N Line. It has a low-set air intake and more aggressive front bumper, complemented by corner fins and lean crease lines.

Both are aimed at expressing the Korean automaker’s "Sensuous Sportiness global design identity."

Hyundai plans to reveal more details about both models in the coming days.
