LED headlamps have become quite common these days. So to make sure they look special in the Seltos, Kia has made them sleeker. These sleek LED headlamps contribute a lot to Seltos’ bold and muscular front fascia.

Does the Seltos have LED daytime running lights?

Ans. Yes, it does come with integrated LED daytime running lights which, along with the LED headlamps, work as the cherry on top of a cake! And below the headlamps, we have LED side turn signals which are, yet again, very well designed. So, the entire front lighting is LED, even the vertically stacked fog lamps.

Sporty alloy wheels

Another great exterior feature of the Seltos is its alloy wheels. These 17-inch wheels complement the sporty look of the crossover so well. They appear to be of a Y-shaped design, which is very finely cut. This shows Kia’s attention to detail.

Ans. Yes, the Kia Seltos comes with steering-mounted controls that perform various functions like audio, cruise control, etc. The buttons are very well finished and have tactile feedback.

8-in touch screen

Sitting in the middle of the dashboard is a floating type 8-in touch screen unit. It has a gloss black surround and comes with various connectivity options like Bluetooth, USB, AUX, etc. Kia has also provided Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with this.

Engine

2020 Kia Seltos specs list a powerful 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine that churns out 147 bhp of max power and 179 Nm of max torque. These figures are much better and higher than that of Nissan Juke (116 bhp / 154 Nm) and Honda HR-V (142 bhp / 172 Nm) but fall just short of that of the Hyundai Kona (149 bhp / 185 Nm).

One of the reasons behind this is the fact that Kia is Hyundai’s sister brand, and that’s why the Kona and Seltos have a similar engine under their hood.
