Nissan Juke NISMO edition is here, officially

MANILA: To spice things up in the crossover segment in the country, Nissan has unleashed its 2019 Juke NISMO edition. There is no denying to the fact that the Nissan Juke has already been one of the more quirky looking and attention-grabbing crossovers in the country, some extra flair won’t do any harm, will it?

Following the Japanese automaker’s signature design concept, the 2019 Juke NISMO gets LED clearance lamps, re-sculpted side sills, built-in diffuser, and NISMO bumpers.

Other updates on the outside include sports black 17-inch alloy wheels, fender lip mouldings, stylish rear spoiler, and red side mirror caps. Moreover, you can have your Juke NISMO edition in one of the Black Obsidian, Pearl White, and Brilliant Silver colors.

Not only the Juke NISMO is sporty and aggressive on the outside but the cabin of the crossover also receives its fair share of the injection of sportiness. A sporty shift knob, three-spoke NISMO steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara leather, and a new red-faced tachometer inside the instrument cluster all contribute to the NISMO-esque character of the Juke. Furthermore, black headliner, front sport bucket seats with suede side trim, and side-curtain SRS airbags also make their way to the 2019 Nissan Juke NISMO.

With some crazy changes on both outside and inside, the Juke NISMO comes with an unaltered powertrain. The crossover gets a 1.6-litre HR16DE engine that produces 116 hp of maximum power and a peak torque of 154 Nm. The ample power is then transferred to the wheels via Nissan’s Xtronic CVT. We also see the Integrated Control System (I-CON) system making its way to the crossover.
