The modified truck started faster and surged away under intense acceleration, finishing more than six truck lengths ahead of the stock model.
The VelociRaptor’s extra power makes it quick off the line, but it is the additional 162lb-ft that truly makes the difference once it hits the road. Hennessey engineers increased the stock Raptor’s 510lb-ft of torque by a third, for a total of 672lb-ft of pulling power. The stock Raptor is a fabulously capable and very quick machine, so our customers love that we can enhance its power and performance to new levels.”
To improve the performance of the stock Ford's twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, Hennessey engineers installed better air induction, a high-capacity intercooler with blow-off valve, and an improved engine-management system.
Many customers choose to equip their VelociRaptor with 20-inch Hennessey wheels and VelociRaptor front and rear bumpers with integrated LED lights to make their vehicle more striking and durable. An Off-Road upgrade is also available, including a suspension leveling kit and up to 37-inch off-road tires.
