Coming back to Suzuki Ertiga Dreza, it is a luxury and elegance stuffed variant of New Ertiga and is launched in two variants New Ertiga Dreza and New Ertiga Dreza GS. The car was launched yesterday evening and with it, Suzuki showed off its new design language that can be seen accompanying Ertiga Dreza both on the inside and outside. Suzuki calls it 'highest type' of Low Multi-Purpose Vehicle and for obvious reasons it is priced above the New Ertiga.
Like the 2015 Ertiga, the new Ertiga and Ertiga Dreza are powered by the 1.4-litre 4 in-line 16V K14B mill. The said mill is not detuned and generates 92 PS @ 6000 rpm of maximum power and 130 Nm of peak torque. On the dimension front too, the 2015 and 2016 Ertiga matches, thus maintaining the same inner comfort and exterior appeal.
Now coming to its changes, New Ertiga Dreza holds a number of distinctions from New Ertiga on the exterior, interior, safety and entertainment front. To the long list of amendments are included new front bumper, new chrome grill, never seen before radiator design, LED headlights and 15-inch alloy wheels. On the sides are new guard side sill, prominent wheel arches and body colored door handles. The rear end gets a new bumper with chrome garnish and roof spoiler with stop lamps.
The most attractive change inside is the new 9-inch audio video navigation system that Suzuki claims is not provided by any of its competitors.
So, in all, New Ertiga Dreza is a premium addition to LMPV segment that allows one to carry both style and utility together. Filipinos can only wish that Suzuki considers them next for New Ertiga debut.
