The all-new 2019 Jimny revealed on Suzuki website

MANILA:  Only a few days back 2019 Jimny was seen naked on the Japanese streets with the leaked images and details. And now, Suzuki Global reveals official images of the next-generation 4x4 on its website. Suzuki posted the most appealing images this week on its website with a short description of the rugged mini-SUV.



The automaker said on its website, “There are places in the world only the Jimny can go”. He continued, “Overcome muddy pits, maneuver through dense woods, conquer massive rocks with this small off-roader that knows what true toughness is. Chosen time and time again by those who share its spirit. The Jimny — always shaping new frontiers.”

The official details of the all-new Suzuki Jimny are not yet disclosed. However, looking at the released images it can be said that the all-new Jimny dons a cute retro-inspired styling from the classic 4x4s. The all-new Jimny would feature a boxy-profile, ladder type body-on-frame, with the blacked-out front fascia.



The cabin images show a well-fitted interior with a center stack touchscreen and a multi-function wheel steering. Suzuki adds an automatic climate control system, upright dashboard, and a cruise control. The interior borrow many styling cues from the all-new 2018 Swift which are reflected on the center console design and multi-info display.



There are rumors that this model would run on a 660cc engine, along with a big 1.5-litre system, that would be mated with either a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual. The 2019 Jimny would come with a turbocharged 4-cylinder unit connected to a 4WD system.

The former Jimny model was available in three colors - Kinetic Yellow, Chiffron Ivory Metallic, and Brisk Blue Metallic. On the other hand, the latest model would be available in the following body colors: Jungle Green, Bluish Black Pearl 3, Medium Gray, Silky Silver Metallic, and Superior White. The 2019 Jimny would be offered in either single-tone or two-tone.



For the detail description on new Jimny's powertrain, buyers would have to wait until its official unveiling. The all-new 2019 Suzuki Jimny would most likely to make its world debut next month.
