There is an Isuzu D-Max Utah V-Cross in the UK

MANILA: Isuzu, a veteran in the pickup truck segment, has unveiled a special edition of the more successful D-Max. Titled as the D-Max Utah V-Cross, the pickup has been launched exclusively for the masses of the United Kingdom. The pickup lovers in the UK just got another treat from the Japanese automaker.

Speaking of the special edition, the D-Max Utah V-Cross doesn’t pack too many changes, however, the crafty additions are delightful. At the front, a skirt has been added which is finished in grey at the bottom and gloss black at the top. Giving it the flair is a red horizontal stripe running through the skirt. Moving on, the Utah V-Cross now rides on 18-inch alloys. Furthermore, the diamond-cut alloys wheels feature 12 V-spokes.

Captioned with “V-Comfortable” and “V-Capable” by the manufacturer, the new D-Max also packs in a wireless smartphone charger with a non-slip pad. So, no need to carry those bulky chargers and tangled cables. On the inside, there is a 7-inch multifunction touchscreen and 8 speakers equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The touchscreen unit also displays the feed from the front and rear cameras for diver’s convenience during parking and zipping through congested spaces.

Under the hood, the Isuzu D-Max Utah V-Cross houses an 1898 cc 4-cylinder diesel-fed motor. The power figures read at 164 PS of maximum power at 3,600 rpm and a peak torque of 360 Nm between 2,000-2,500 rpm. The Utah V-Cross is capable of towing weight of up to 3,500 kg and also comes with a 5 year or 200,000 km warranty along with 5-year roadside assistance across the European continent.
