Honda PH unveils all-new BeAT

MANILA: Honda Philippines, Incorporated (HPI) launched the all-new BeAT as the company celebrates its 50th anniversary in the country.

    Offered in three trims (Playful, Premium and the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition), the aforementioned offerings give owners of the all-new Honda BeAT a suit of options that would fit their taste.

    The Playful variant comes in Fighting Red, Pearl Sylvestris Gray, Pearl Nightfall Blue, and Clipper Yellow; while the Premium has a new three-dimensional emblem and gold color cast wheel and is available in Pearl Arctic White and Matte Axis Gray.

    Another distinct feature found in the Premium option is the semi-digital meter panel.

    Additionally, the Limited Edition wears a Pearl Arctic White color, new accents, and a front position 50th Anniversary logo.

    Powering the vehicle is a 110 cubic-centimeter engine with enhanced smart power (ESP) technology that can provide nearly nine horsepower (8.9 hp) and 9.3 Newton-meters of torque. It also has a programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI) supply system that helps the scooter in achieving the 58.2-kilometers-per liter churn — expanding the range of the motorcycle that has a 4.2-liter tank.

    Further, the all-new Honda Beat is fitted new features such as LED headlights, a new ACC power socket that can work with most adaptors for easy and convenient smartphone charging, an integrated seat opener, and a larger 12-liter U-Box capacity for greater storage capacity, as well as a side stand switch and keyhole shutter.
