Mazda somehow gets much less attention than a BMW or Mercedes, though the company makes some of the best cars that combine looks and performance. Maybe because Japanese cars are more utility-oriented instead of being lavish. But the Mazda 3 has an upscale interior, very spirited handling, and nice acceleration. I didn't expect the Mazda 3 to rev so quickly. That came as a surprise. The back seat is spacious with sufficient legroom. Driving the Mazda was easy with the car having great handling capability. The limited cargo space was bit of a letdown.
