Inside of the Hyundai Santa Fe is “the” place to be in

MANILA: Hyundai and its SUVs & crossovers is a tale that for sure is not ending anytime soon. While the South Korean automaker is expanding its portfolio rapidly, the increase in quantity is in no way hampering the quality of the vehicles it is presenting us with. On this occasion, the elephant in the room is the Hyundai Sante Fe.

The newest iteration of the SUV is without a hair of a doubt one of the better SUVs one can have in the present and to support the fact, the Sante Fe has just been named in the “2019 10 Best Interior” list by Wards Auto.

This award has taken the Hyundai’s total awards tally to eight. The race was among a total of 32 vehicles and there was no price cap either. To win in such stiff competition, the Hyundai Sante Fe must be having some interior, right? The jury comprised of 8 folks from Wards Auto who gave various vehicles points on the basis of the material quality, ergonomics, aesthetics, comfort, and fit-and-finish of their interior.

The reason behind the Hyundai Sante Fe outclassing other more pricey vehicles was “better materials and fit-and-finish, plus a more progressive interior design than some competing midsized SUVs costing thousands (of dollars) more”, said Christie Truett, Senior Editor at Wards Auto.

The spacious interior that comes equipped with high-quality materials also contributed to the success of the Sante Fe. Also appreciated were the three-dimensional instrument panel and contrasting seat stitching.

The ingress of optimum sunlight inside the cabin provides the occupants with a feeling of openness, added Wards Auto. The ten vehicles in the 2019 10 Best Interior were Nissan Kicks, Toyota RAV4, Volvo V60, Hyundai Santa Fe, Jeep Gladiator, Lincoln Nautilus, Mercedes-Benz A220, Bentley Continental GT, BMW M850i, and Genesis G70.
