Jeep Wrangler 'Cliffhanger Edition' Staged At GIIAS 2016 - Only 25 Units To Grab

MANILA: The American SUV maker – Jeep is counted amongst the most acclaimed auto brands across the world. Known for its power packed off-roading fleet, Wrangler is among the most appreciated SUVs in the Philippines and neighboring countries. With Indonesia celebrating its highly appreciated auto event – GIIAS 2016, there is no chance that this automaker may not make its presence. Jeep, through its authorized distributor, launched the Jeep Wrangler 'Cliffhanger Edition' in Indonesia during this event which carries a macho look and is targeted for those customers who want to define their obsession and passion for off-roading and adventure with their drives.

During the launch, the company made it clear that this special edition is restricted to 25 units only. The styling of this edition is inspired from Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and there are lots of aspects which differ from Rubicon in the Cliffhanger Edition for distinction. To start with, this study SUV has got BFGoodrich tires which are known for their great grip on varied terrains including the muddy ones. The front bumper is given black rugged look while the suspension is lifted with custom wheels gallant. The carbon fiber bonnet along with LED headlights, soft top, bold rear bumper and a spare tire attached to the trunk to offer you non-stop journeys, complete the exterior of this newest and limited edition Wrangler model.

The new Jeep Wrangler 'Cliffhanger Edition' is powered by a 3.0-litre Pentastar V6 power unit which is capable of producing a thrilling maximum power output worth 230 hp along with supporting peak torque showing 285 Nm. The interior has been given a dual-tone with premium leather wrappings at the seats and steering. The dashboard is ergonomically designed with all the necessary gauges and gadgets plotted keeping the driver's convenience in mind.

During the launch ceremony, a Jeep authority stated that "Indonesian People want to have something other than the usual Jeep drives. This new edition looks more adventurous, masculine and robust and is for the customers who love to go for off-roading trips more often. This macho Jeep drive will be available in just 25 units and there are no plans for increasing the availability as that would hamper the exclusivity of this drive.

Though this Jeep drive is offered in Indonesia as for the moment but it is expected to arrive in the Philippines also during the upcoming PIMS 2016. Recently, Jeep marked its 75th anniversary and released the Jeep Wrangler 75th Salute Concept on this occasion to revive its military heritage. Also, In July 2016, Jeep confirmed that it is building a pickup based on Jeep Wrangler which may arrive by the end of 2017 or early in 2018. Seems like Jeep is keeping a busy schedule with lots of launches, showcases and prototypes.
