New Land Rover Range Rover SV to make UK debut at Salon Privé London

MANILA: The new Range Rover SV, Land Rover's ultimate luxury vehicle, will make its UK premiere at the first Salon Privé London on April 21, combining innovation and artistic refinement to produce a remarkable rendition of the renowned SUV.

The new Range Rover SV offers customers a spectacular range of personalization options across both standard and long wheelbase variants, including a five-seat LWB configuration for the first time. It  is the first vehicle to feature a special ceramic SV roundel, and it symbolizes the pinnacle of design and technical expertise from Land Rover's in-house Special Vehicle Operations team.

Range Rover has set the standard for luxury SUVs over the past 50 years, and as the original one, it embodies tranquility, comfort, and all-terrain performance. The new Range Rover SV flagship boasts special design details and material choices throughout, including tactile materials such as ceramic touchpoints and hand-laid mosaic marquetry veneers, allowing customers to fully customize their vehicles.

In a statement, Land Rover Director David Bagley said, “It’s fitting that the new Range Rover SV should make its UK event debut alongside us in the capital for Salon Privé London, and we’re delighted it’ll be the first time our guests can receive a guided tour of the personalization options available when crafting their perfect Range Rover. Its very name has epitomized luxury and capability for half a century and, while it remains true to the marque’s roots, this new car creates a distinct identity for the future.”

The customization process for the new Range Rover SV comprises the meticulously crafted SV Serenity and SV Intrepid design themes, each of which gives the vehicle its own individuality. These can be ordered separately for the exterior or interior, or in combination with the standard Range Rover SV exterior or interior, or as a single theme for the entire car.

Customers can choose from the standard Range Rover color palette or from the SV Bespoke Premium Palette's optional colors. This comprises a variety of vivid gloss and refined satin finishes, all of which are laid against a contrast roof in Narvik Black or Corinthian Bronze, depending on the body color. For a truly one-of-a-kind choice, the SV Bespoke Match to Sample paint service can replicate any color, giving customers unlimited personalization options.

The new 530ps V8 Twin Turbo and the fuel-efficient D350 Ingenium diesel engines are available in the Range Rover SV. The standard wheelbase variant can also be equipped with a 510ps Electric Hybrid powertrain, which has an all-electric range of up to 70 miles. In addition to the five-seat layout, a four-seat SV Signature Suite configuration is also available on LWB variants. It takes the SUV's luxury to new heights by providing seamless ease and comfort with a range of premium upgrades.

A new Range Rover SV P530 LWB will take centerstage at Salon Privé London for the vehicle's UK premiere. It is done in a special Icy White Gloss paint with SV Serenity exterior accents and a contrast roof in Corinthian Bronze, with SV Serenity Caraway Near-Aniline and Perlino Semi-Aniline leather, Gloss White Ceramic controls, and a Natural Light Wenge veneer with Mosaic Marquetry, as shown at its world debut last October. The SV Signature Suite contains a fixed full-length center console with electrically deployable table and cup holders, a fridge, Dartington Crystal glassware, and an eight-inch rear seat touchscreen controller.

Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations team will be on way to assist buyers through every step of the Range Rover SV's customization process, and the vehicle will be available for order throughout the luxury car show at Royal Hospital Chelsea.

Eight vehicles will make their global, European, or UK debut at Royal Hospital Chelsea, as befitting Salon Privé's standing as one of the world's most elite motoring events. The latest models from Alpine, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Genesis, Lamborghini, Pininfarina, Porsche, and Rolls-Royce, as well as the latest Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles machinery, will be on exhibit. Charge Cars, Envisage, Everrati, Jensen Automotive, and Overfinch will be accompanied by British experts Charge Cars, Envisage, Everrati, Jensen Automotive, and Overfinch to create a lineup that includes everything from reworked classics to next-generation hypercars and electric vehicles.

Aside from the motoring attractions, Salon Privé London aspires to be London's most exclusive automotive party, with lots to see and do. The shopping village will feature a number of high-end brands, including Boodles, Jess Collet Milliner, and Penhaligon's, a British perfume firm founded in the late 1860s. Patek Philippe watches, Riva sports boats, and Bell helicopters will all be on exhibit, along with the first-class hospitality for which Salon Privé is known. Louis Pommery will be flowing, while the mixologists from NoMad, Louie, and the Donovan Bar will be providing fresh drinks at London Essence cocktail bars.

Salon Privé has also collaborated with JKS Restaurants, a famous and creative hospitality group, to provide visitors a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Dishes from Michelin-starred Gymkhana, Indian BBQ classics from Brigadiers, and cult Taiwanese specialists BAO will be among the offerings. There will also be plates from The George in Fitzrovia and The Cadogan Arms in Chelsea, serving pub fare that highlights the best of British products, making Salon Privé London a true foodie's delight.

The Sloane, the event's exclusive VIP Hospitality Pavilion, will also offer a spectacular three-course seated luncheon, with DJs keeping guests entertained.

Through Work for Good, Salon Privé London will donate 20% of all Entry Ticket proceeds to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).
