2016 Bentley Bentayga Revealed Ahead of Frankfurt Debut

MANILA: The dignified Brit Bentley has finally revealed its Bentayga in all its glory after countless teasers and spy shots. Billed as world's “most powerful and fastest SUV,” the car has long been waited by folks because this is the first-ever SUV of Bentley. Slated for debut in upcoming 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the deliveries should commence in early 2016.

The photos and information surfaced on company's main website suggest that it is clearly inspired by latest Continental and Flying Spur models with EXP 9 F concept being carried over. The matrix front grilles, LED headlights, panoramic glass roof, aluminium rails, alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, and oval shaped exhaust outlets are some of the features enhancing its exterior beauty. The car speaks brand's current design language with snazzy graphic attitude.

The engine is an all-new bi-turbo 6.0-litre TSI W12 machine which pumps out 600 hp at 6000 rpm and 900 Nm in between 1250 and 4500 rpm. When power gets channelled through an eight-speed automatic gearbox, the Bentley SUV sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and hit the top speed of 301 km/h. The fuel economy is rated as 12.8 l/100 km and CO2 emissions stand at 292 g/km.

While the launch model will present only a single engine choice, the brand has confirmed that a diesel and hybrid model will follow soon. Besides, the plush interior and uncompromised safety are standard here because Bentley is all about luxury and high-precision.
