All-New Mercedes-Benz GLC Arrives in PH, Priced at P5.19M
MANILA: Auto Nation Group (ANG), the official distributor of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the Philippines, unveiled the new Mercedes-Benz GLC on Wednesday, June 21.

“The new GLC is a culmination of years of dedication, of passion and innovation by Mercedes-Benz engineers and designers. The new GLC is bigger, sleeker and sportier,” ANG Chief Operating Officer Frankie Ang stated.
From the exterior design elements to the intuitive and widely digitized interior, the new Mercedes-Benz GLC presents the cutting-edge design language that first appeared on the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
Its state-of-the-art exterior features LED high performance headlights and two-section LED tail lights. The 19-inch 10-twin-spoke light alloy wheels with tremolite paint complete the envisioned aesthetic for the brand.
Furthermore, the wheelbase is 15 millimeters longer than the predecessor's, while the overall length is 58 millimeters longer.
The luxurious interior features give every occupant the impression that they have just entered a first-class plane cabin.
The new Mercedes-Benz GLC also guarantees a hassle-free driving experience as it comes with the MBUX infotainment system with voice command recognition, as well as a wireless charging system for mobile devices.
The infotainment system can also be connected to a smart device through Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Other premium cabin features include a 15-speaker Burmester 3D surround sound system and 64-color ambient lighting.
The MBUX infotainment system in the new Mercedes-Benz GLC can be managed through the 11.9-inch central display touchscreen. The new Mercedes-Benz GLC is also equipped with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster.
The new Mercedes-Benz GLC is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four engine with 48V mild hybrid assist. The powertrain produces 204ps and 320Nm of torque, and is mated to a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission.
“The new GLC embraces its rough and ready personality in the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, and it promises an unparalleled driving experience that blends power and efficiency like never before,” Ang added.
The Dynamic Select feature in the new Mercedes-Benz GLC allows the driver to select among different drive modes, including Offroad mode.
For a safer and more confident driving experience, the new Mercedes-Benz GLC comes standard with active parking assist with Parktronic and active brake assist with pedestrian protection.
The new Mercedes-Benz GLC is priced at P5.19 million.
