Bentley unveils new luxury, sustainable features of Bentayga

MANILA: Bentley Motors has announced the new features of the Bentayga.

Seven new satin paints — including Royal Ebony, Light Sapphire, Orange Flame, Alpine Green, British Racing Green, Cricket Ball,  and Candy Red — are now available for the luxury sports utility vehicle. Bentley also introduced a new 21-inch (in) wheel option in three different finishes. New chassis technology, new electrical features, and a revamped front radiator grille are also introduced.

The Bentayga Extended Wheelbase is now available with all-wheel steering and reduced turning radius.

Standard wheelbase models may now also be equipped with the Airline Seat Specification that includes postural adjust and seat auto climate functions. This feature used to be exclusive to the Extended Wheelbase model.

The Bentayga also comes with additional driver assistance features such as intelligent park assist with remote parking, 3D surround view, and emergency assist. Its adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and Bentley Safeguard also received upgrades.

Three new dial styles are available on the instrument panel, which now also includes real-time visualization of the road ahead, a 3D depiction of detected objects, and driver assistance features status.

The air-conditioning system now comes with a particle meter sensor to measure the air quality inside and outside the vehicle. Recirculation mode is automatically activated if the air quality is poor to prevent pollution from entering the cabin. When there are no rear occupants, the system is deactivated automatically to reduce airflow noise and fuel consumption.

The Bang and Olufsen for Bentley audio system is now available on the Bentayga, producing the best acoustic transparency.

More sustainable materials are also incorporated into the Bentayga. The deep pile Wilton carpets are made from pure wool, and the standard cabin carpets are made from 100-percent nylon.

Bentley also introduced the new Bentayga "A" model, which sits between the standard models and the Azure. The "A" model features a straight vanned front grille, black lower bumper grilles, "A" badging, and 21in black and bright machined wheels. It comes standard with the front seat comfort specification, which includes massage, seat heating, and ventilation.
