Mercedes-Benz GLB Progressive boasts versatile, spacious interior

MANILA: Mercedes-Benz in the Philippines recently introduced a new variant of the GLB 200, the Progressive line.

The GLB is said to be the Stuttgart-headquartered brand's most versatile premium compact SUV. It features a long wheelbase, eye-catching SUV styling, and a stunning widescreen cockpit, making it the perfect companion for adventure and travel.

The Mercedes-Benz GLB sports a distinctive SUV design that combines contemporary and classic Mercedes-Benz features, setting this vehicle apart from the rest. With the Progressive design line, it highlights the uniqueness with simulated underguards in high-gloss chrome at the front and rear that showcase the vehicle's off-road capabilities. The upright section of the vehicle immediately makes an impact when viewed from the front, thanks to its radiator grille with two single louvers. Special features include 19-inch 10-spoke light-alloy wheels and high-performance LED headlights with daytime running lights.

In addition to a spacious cabin with a roomy headroom for the driver and passengers, the Mercedes-Benz GLB has 570 liters of cargo space behind the second-row seats. The Mercedes-Benz GLB offers a wide range of possibilities, whether in moving people or equipment.

The Mercedes-Benz GLB’s interior is also equipped with a seven-inch digital instrument display and Artico man-made leather seats. Its 10.25-inch MBUX multimedia system can be connected to a smartphone through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, giving quick access to essential mobile apps such as Spotify and Waze.

The Mercedes-Benz GLB also comes with an Easy-Pack tailgate that can be opened and closed with just a press of a button, providing further convenience when loading and unloading cargo.

The Mercedes-Benz GLB is also loaded with numerous safety and convenience features. It  comes equipped with Active Brake Assist, Active Parking Assist with 12 ultrasonic sensors, and Cruise Control. It also comes with Isofix child-seat mountings, seven airbags with two-stage deployment, and a drowsiness detection technology called Attention Assist.

The Mercedes-Benz GLB Progressive is now available for viewing at the Mercedes-Benz showrooms in Greenhills, Bonifacio Global City, Alabang, and Cebu City. Price starts at P3.99 million.
